Such places are the last of our primeval landscapes, the few surviving samples of a natural world, to walk and rest in, to see, to listen to, to feel the mood of, to comprehend, to care about. There isn't much of it left. What there is is all all men will ever have, and all their children. It is only as safe as people knowing about it, want it to be. -- Theodore Roethke
